At the company’s Oğulbey Technology Base, sensors detected and tracked an unmanned target, passed data through the DRONEDEF command-and-control system and directed the GÖKALP E1 interceptor. Anadolu reported that the engagement sequence was conducted autonomously.

The demonstration presents GÖKALP as a layered defensive option for short-range drone threats. It establishes that the integrated sequence was shown in a controlled setting; it does not by itself demonstrate battlefield performance, production scale or procurement commitments.
