Salesforce agrees to buy Rune for military logistics software

Rune builds AI-assisted software that forecasts supply needs and helps allocate resources, including where network connectivity is limited. Salesforce said the US Army and Marine Corps already use the technology.

Financial terms were not disclosed. Salesforce said the transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of its 2027 fiscal year, subject to customary conditions, and reported that Missionforce was growing 80% year over year.
