F.P. Journe has made a unique Chronomètre Furtif ICM for a Christie’s Geneva auction on September 29, with all proceeds benefiting the Paris Brain Institute. Watches By SJX reported a tungsten-carbide case and bracelet, tantalum components, a black enamel dial engraved by laser and an ICM logo at three o’clock.
The 42-millimetre watch uses the manually wound calibre 1522, with 18-karat pink-gold plates and bridges, a 21,600-vph rate and a stated 56-hour power reserve. Its back displays moon phase and power-reserve indications, and water resistance is rated to 30 metres.
