IWC introduced 40 mm and 35 mm Ingenieur Automatic 50th Anniversary editions on September 15. Each reference is limited to 1,150 pieces and uses a vertically brushed silver-plated dial inspired by a less common version of Gérald Genta's Ingenieur SL.

The 40 mm IW328910 uses IWC's automatic calibre 32111 with a stated 120-hour reserve and a soft-iron inner case. The 35 mm IW324909 uses calibre 47110 with a 42-hour reserve and a sapphire caseback. Both retain the integrated steel bracelet and 100-metre water-resistance rating.
