Jaguar premieres its all-electric Type 01 grand tourer in New York.

Jaguar presented the production Type 01 in New York as the first vehicle built on its dedicated Jaguar Electric Architecture. The company says the four-door GT uses an 850-volt electrical system, delivers more than 1,000 PS and can add 200 miles of range in 13 minutes on a 350 kW charger.

Those performance and range figures are manufacturer claims rather than independent test results. Jaguar says orders will open in early 2027, pricing will start at £130,000 and first customer deliveries are expected in the second half of that year.
