Lucid and Bolt plan a 25,000-vehicle European robotaxi fleet.

Lucid and European mobility platform Bolt said they plan to deploy 25,000 fully autonomous vehicles in major European cities. The vehicles will be based on Lucid’s upcoming Midsize platform and are expected to use Nvidia’s Hyperion autonomous-vehicle architecture.

The companies intend to co-develop a platform for SAE Level 4 automation, while Bolt plans to own and operate the fleet and build the required city partnerships and operating infrastructure. Reuters reported that no deployment timetable or investment amount was disclosed.
