The six-unit spacecraft uses ASCENT propellant to feed a high-thrust combustion engine and low-thrust electrospray thrusters. Combining the two modes is intended to reduce tanks and plumbing while preserving rapid and efficient manoeuvring options.
The mission is scheduled to launch no earlier than October 1 and conduct a nine-month demonstration in low Earth orbit, alternating between the propulsion modes during orbit changes.
