NASA announced a September 16 news conference at 2:45 p.m. EDT from the International Space Station. Jessica Meir, Jack Hathaway, Sophie Adenot and Andrey Fedyaev will discuss Crew-12's mission and coming return to Earth.

The agency says the crew will leave after Crew-13 arrives and a short handover is completed. Mission teams will also review conditions at California splashdown locations. The advisory does not set a firm departure date. Crew-12's research included on-demand intravenous-fluid generation and studies of how spaceflight affects blood flow.
