LEMS-SP will monitor micrometeoroids, volatiles and seismic activity near the lunar south pole. GIMLI will scan beneath the Marius Hills Pit to test whether it connects to a large lava tube that could offer natural shielding.

DISCO will directly examine ice in micro-cold traps and study how rocket exhaust disturbs the surface. NASA said the payloads were selected through PRISM and will reach the Moon using Commercial Lunar Payload Services.
