The 47mm white-gold watch combines a rotating northern-sky chart, moon phase, peripheral date and separate sunrise and sunset indications. Its automatic calibre required more than five years of development and adds 121 components for the new complication.

The mechanism uses stepped annual cams and a flexible spring system to translate the changing length of each day into hand positions. The display is calibrated for Geneva’s latitude.
