Terafab targets volume chip production by the third quarter of 2028

Elon Musk said Terafab plans a first SRAM test chip around May or June 2027 and volume production by the third quarter of 2028. The proposed site would combine advanced logic, memory, packaging and testing.

Musk called the schedule aggressive and acknowledged major uncertainty. These are targets for a venture under development, not completed manufacturing milestones.
