Textron Aviation and Merlin introduced the Cessna SkyCourier UX concept on September 14. It pairs the existing twin-turboprop platform with Merlin's autonomous-flight software, with the aim of moving supplies when conventional logistics routes are constrained.
The companies are evaluating cargo-layout changes and autonomous or pilot-optional operations. This remains a development concept: the announcement does not establish certification, a production order or operational deployment of the proposed configuration.
