Ukraine orders 4,700 fragment-protection suits

The procurement agency has contracted for 4,700 sets after technical specifications were approved in May. The ministry says field evaluations informed the selected design.

The approximately two-kilogram sets combine a jacket, trousers and additional protective sections. They are intended to supplement other protective equipment; the announcement does not establish that the contracted batch has already been delivered.
